Solana Mobile Seeker Users Get SKR Tokens in New $26M Airdrop

Solana has launched a major token airdrop for its Solana Seeker users. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for Solana’s web3 smartphone, pushing to expand its mobile-first crypto ecosystem. With this development, the blockchain platform intends to reward early adopters of the device with SKR tokens, Solana Mobile’s native utility and governance cryptocurrency.

The massive $26 million airdrop provides eligible users with an opportunity to claim and stake their SKR tokens for 90 days. Solana Mobile noted, “Staked SKR starts earning immediately, with inflation events every 48 hours and 0% commission upon launch.”

As two billion tokens have already been distributed to over 100,000 users and developers, the latest move could be seen as the platform’s focus to bring crypto and blockchain closer to mobile users.

Exploring Solana Mobile’s SKR Airdrop

Solana Labs’ Solana Mobile has announced a strategic development within the ecosystem via its latestpost on X. The thread details a new SKR token airdrop for users of its Web3 smartphone, Solana Seeker. The firm noted,

“Seeker and SKR are a bet that there’s another way for mobile: that the people who use the network should own the network. Today, over 100,000 of you can claim your stake in that future.”

The announcement coincides with the launch of the SKR token, the native token of Solana Mobile. With the launch, the platform intends to provide about three months for its users to claim their airdropped tokens. They can also stake these tokens and earn additional rewards.

Notably, Solana Seeker is an Android smartphone developed by Solana Mobile. It was launched in August 2025, following the platform’s first device, the Solana Saga, introduced in 2022. The phone focuses on crypto users and offers a dedicated dApp store and easy access to the Solana ecosystem.

Who Is Eligible for the $26M Airdrop?

According to the announcement, Seeker phone users are eligible to claim their SKR tokens directly through the device’s built-in wallet. While they have 90 days to claim the token, any unclaimed tokens will be sent back to the airdrop pool after the period. Solana Mobile also noted that developers who launched a “quality app” on the dApp store during the season are also eligible for the token airdrop.

It is also worth noting that the 1.8 billion SKR tokens allocated for the airdrop are part of the 30% of the total supply reserved for airdrops. This also covers initial distribution to eligible Seeker users and developers.

The token allocation plan also sets aside another 25% for partnerships and growth initiatives. A 10% is allocated for launch activities and liquidity support, while another 10% is set for a community treasury to fund future ecosystem proposals. The remaining tokens will be distributed to Solana Labs and Solana Mobile.

SKR Token Jumps Post-Launch

Since its launch, the SKR token has surged significantly, underscoring its growing influence. Currently trading at $0.01192, the token has seen a massive hike of 72%. With a market cap of $67.6 million and a trading volume of $42.4 million, the SKR token continues to spark attention among investors.

Significantly, the airdrop highlights Solana Mobile’s push toward community-driven growth. It accounts for a portion of the SKR token’s fixed supply. According to CoinGecko data, the token currently has a circulating supply of 5.7 billion.
