Grayscale Chainlink Trust ETF Goes Live on NYSE Arca

Another major altcoin ETF has hit the cryptocurrency market, sparking widespread enthusiasm among investors and analysts alike. In a significant development, investment giant Grayscale has launched the Chainlink Trust ETF on NYSE Arca. With this launch, the first-ever Chainlink ETF debuts in the market.

This innovative exchange-traded product provides investors with a unique opportunity to tap into the vast potential of Chainlink, a decentralised oracle platform that has revolutionised the way smart contracts interact with real-world data.  As the demand for decentralised solutions continues to grow, GLINK offers a regulated and secure way for the community to gain exposure to the growing ecosystem of Chainlink-powered projects.

The development gains particular attention considering its significant impact on the LINK token. Driven by the Grayscale Chainlink Trust ETF launch, the LINK token has seen a notable surge, invoking a fresh wave of optimism following the recent downturn.

According to the official announcement of Grayscale Investments, one of the largest digital asset investors, the Grayscale Chainlink Trust ETF has begun trading on NYSE Arca on December 2, 2025. Under the ticker GLINK, the ETP was initially launched as a private placement in February 2021 and expanded its reach by starting to trade on OTC Markets in May 2022.

Now, the product has started its new journey as an ETP on NYSE Arca. This move has effectively provided investors with a new opportunity to gain exposure to the cryptocurrency. Inkoo Kang, SVP, ETFs, at Grayscale, stated,

“Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network is setting the market standard for verifiable data and cross-chain connectivity that underpins tokenization and DeFi across public blockchains. With GLNK, investors can gain exposure to this foundational infrastructure in the familiar ETP wrapper.”

In a separate post, Grayscale posited that the Chainlink Trust ETF is an exchange-product that is not registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. As a result, it is not subject to the same regulatory requirements and investor predictions as registered ETFs and mutual funds. As per the company’s statement,

“GLNK is subject to significant risk and heightened volatility. GLNK is not suitable for an investor who cannot afford to the loss of the entire investment. An investment in GLNK is not a direct investment in Chainlink.”

Grayscale is Expanding Access to Digital Assets

Significantly, the launch of the Chainlink Trust ETF builds on Grayscale’s recent wave of crypto ETF launches, including its XRP, Dogecoin, and Solana funds. This move underscores the asset manager’s commitment to expanding access to diverse cryptocurrencies through regulated investment products.

Grayscale is also pursuing SEC approval for a Zcash ETF, which would be the first to offer exposure to the privacy-focused cryptocurrency, ZEC. This move further solidifies Grayscale’s position as a leader in the digital asset investment space.

In response to the Grayscale Chainlink Trust ETF launch, the LINK token has seen a notable surge of 5.6% over the past 24 hours. This remarkable rebound from the recent dip has sparked a new ray of hope among community members.

However, LINK is still down by a massive 25% in a month, despite the 1.4% surge over the past seven days. As the token is showing positive signals, investors and traders remain optimistic about its potential bull run.
