Having firmly established its presence in 2023 and 2024, GM Vietnam — Vietnam Blockchain Week now enters a new chapter, defined by greater ambition, increased scale, and the attitude of Southeast Asia’s next-generation builders.
To mark this evolution, SSI Digital (SSID), the digital asset arm of Vietnam’s largest securities firm, SSI Securities Corporation, has partnered with Kyros Ventures, the founding organizer of GM Vietnam. The strategic alliance merges two leading brands, “GM Vietnam” and “Vietnam Tech Impact Summit (VTIS),” into a single flagship event: GM Vietnam – Vietnam Blockchain Week.
For the first time, GM Vietnam 2025 will be held in Ha Noi on August 1 and 2 at the National Convention Center. Being her capital of political culture, Ha Noi represents the perfect site that corresponds to the vision behind this event. The timing, too, is very strategic: taking advantage of recent breakthroughs in regulatory issues and mounting momentum in the market, it sets the stage for stakeholders to align strategies and speed up innovation.
Thuat Nguyen (Zane), Founder and CEO of Kyros Ventures and the organizer of GM Vietnam, shared:
“We are thrilled to launch the third edition of GM Vietnam — now evolving into Vietnam Blockchain Week — with a bold vision to elevate it as Southeast Asia’s premier Web3 and blockchain gathering. Hanoi is the perfect stage to unite the region’s next-generation builders, innovators, and global leaders.”

Vietnam has been improving digital asset regulations lately to signify its commitment to a clear legal framework that can foster the rise of the industry.
In October 2024, the government launched the National Strategy on Blockchain Technology Development, with the implementation phase starting in 2025, lining up the steps to enhance infrastructure domestically and realize Vietnam as a regional powerhouse in blockchain adoption.
In parallel, the National Assembly is conducting the review of the Digital Technology Industry Law, which is setting crucial legal definitions for digital assets and proposing pilot programs for digital asset exchanges in a number of major financial centers like Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
Additionally, the government has issued a directive to finalize a comprehensive legal framework for digital assets, including virtual assets and service providers, by May 2025.
These regulatory developments will serve as an important spotlight during Vietnam Blockchain Week 2025, keeping the visitors abreast of the dynamic and fast-evolving legal and policy landscape in Vietnam.
Join us from August 1-2, 2025, for a series of dynamic conferences and events, and connect with industry leaders and visionary thinkers!
