Singapore’s independent wealth fund is soon capitalizing in the world’s major cryptocurrency exchange by way of its venture wing, according to a press release. Vertex Ventures is a subordinate of Singapore-based government-owned asset company Temasek Holdings, which achieves $223 billion in assets.

Vertex Ventures, the risk capital arm of Temasek Holdings – that is functioned by the govt of Singapore – has created a planned investment in Binance and can work with the exchange to line up an additional branch in the city-state, the fund proclaimed Tuesday.

The focus of the setup is that the formation of Binance Singapore, a fiat-to-crypto exchange, furthermore as alternative fiat-crypto services in Southeast Asia, in keeping with press statements.
